Sorry, like I said, I know Jack all about drag racing it isn't that popular over here and I think all our strips are 1/4 mile, I didn't know 1/8 mile drag racing existed, are the 1/8 strips in citys? that would be pretty cool and may curb some of the street racing that goes on but I doubt they would allow it over here with all the noise, I think our strips are all in the countryside often at disused airfields left from the war where the extra strip length isn't a problem.Paul Upton-Taylor, Greased Weasel Racing.Comment

here in St. Petersburg we have an 1/8th mile track right in town. It used to be a 1/4 mile track but it was cut short for a new road. However less than an hour south is one of the best tracks in the south east and it is a 1/4 mile track. there are also a couple more tracks not to far away.
even with all of these tracks, street racing is still pretty big here. if you want to really call roll racing, street racing anyway. There are very few any more that do dig runs. Alot of people don't want to pay the $25 entry for to make 2 or 3 passes at the track.Comment
