fastest was a 5.95 this weekend.
It still weighs over 3000 pounds and is a low 9 second car.
Which is it? 9 seconds is still fast but there's a world of difference between 9 seconds and 6 seconds.

5.95 is my 8th mile time.

5.95 calculated to a 1/4 mile time comes out to 9.22

I am not sure a top fuel car could pull off a 5.95 at 117. lol

The car looks like it is running pretty good. It makes me miss my 01 SS camaro. Not as fast as your car, but I will miss making passes down the track with it.

The 117 gave it away. If you had those kind of times, I'm sure you would have been going much faster.

9.22 in the 1/4 is around like 130 or 140 mph.
Ive never ran 1/4 mile with this set up and the 9.22 isnt an acurate number when your just calculating it from an 1/8th mile time.

Sorry, like I said, I know Jack all about drag racing it isn't that popular over here and I think all our strips are 1/4 mile, I didn't know 1/8 mile drag racing existed, are the 1/8 strips in citys? that would be pretty cool and may curb some of the street racing that goes on but I doubt they would allow it over here with all the noise, I think our strips are all in the countryside often at disused airfields left from the war where the extra strip length isn't a problem.

here in St. Petersburg we have an 1/8th mile track right in town. It used to be a 1/4 mile track but it was cut short for a new road. However less than an hour south is one of the best tracks in the south east and it is a 1/4 mile track. there are also a couple more tracks not to far away.

even with all of these tracks, street racing is still pretty big here. if you want to really call roll racing, street racing anyway. There are very few any more that do dig runs. Alot of people don't want to pay the $25 entry for to make 2 or 3 passes at the track.
