    5.97 @ 117mph

    Was shooting for the 5.90's....

I made it into the 5.90's!!

    5.97 @ 117mph
fastest was a 5.95 this weekend.

I have no doubt that i can put down a low 5.90 to a high 5.80 with a better track.

4.88 and that was just a time trial.
If that were to be an elimination round he would have got a very large head start.
Clayton (driver of that camaro) was running in the 8's.

.520 reaction time. .500 is a perfect light.

          Yes, new motor.
Chevelle is a completely different car now.

That engine is normally aspirated, right?

Its naturally aspirated, not normally aspirated.

                        Yes, no power adders.

Fracking hell less than 6 seconds that's amazing, pretty much all I know of drag racing is from the fast and the furious, but yours make a mockery of their 10 second cars, my all time car crush, Will Gollup's metro 6R4 was in the mid 8s and although that was a rallycross car not a drag car its an incredible feat to take 2 and a half seconds off that, I'd have thought you would need one of those really long narrow drag cars with the tiny front tyres, huge tyres and wing at the rear to go that fast, doing it with a road car is totally incredible. I know nearly nothing about American cars is your Chevelle the blue one?

you talk about the 10 second cars on fast and the fursious..

Those 4 and 6 cylinder engines with the turbos and the 10-20lb bottles of nitrous. Yeah..those cars.

My Chevelle is the blue car. It still weighs over 3000 pounds and is a low 9 second car.

My bad. I'm from the old school. Back when you had to have a " 6-71 blower" to get those kind of numbers.
