Just wondering if your parcel from OSE has arrived yet. Mine is still not here. Order was 2011-07-05. As the Americans write the date different I guess that is the 5th of July. It is now the 3rd of August so I am starting to think I will have to re order if I am ever going to get my counter rotating props for the master to work on.
As this is the first parcel ever to go missing for me I am not going to point the finger at any particular postal system as our guys lose parcels too. We also have a growing number of thieves in the city (despite the government saying crime is going down).

I told you on the phone the other night about my DF33 flying after bouncing off the water. Thought you might like to watch this while we wait for our parts...

Because I am waiting for my parts I have nothing better to do than go boating I took my little Xzess 2 and my Black Douglas pussy to the lake and was impressed with the results

          Xzees 2, andym X642, 2s lipo, Hydra 240 lv, 1515 0.5 Y = 86.6 kph or 53.81 mph. That was using your old 2s battery Chuck.

Next was the Black Douglas cat.
2 X 1512 1.5Y 1850 kv Castle motors, Swordfish esc's, 6s1p lipo, 2 by X442 counter rotating thingies = 112 kph or 69.59 mph, my best speed yet. On the next run the nose went for the sky so obviously it is time to move some weight forward.

I am happy to hear you at least can get her on the water when work lets you.
Thanks for the motor info. I will edit that in.
I told you on the phone last time that my pussy was riding in a nose up position. I guess with the extra 4 kph, she did this morning, it was enough to lift the little blighter off the water. No damage, and I know what I have to do to mover the cog forward a little. The extra speed was due to the hot water bottles we talked about, and going on past experience maximum speed would have been on run 3. The blow over stopped me from trying for a run 3 because I wanted to check it out for damage. Things happen at 60 + mph. The Saints stickers suffered no damage thank goodness

Those little castle motors are working hard to punish your pussy .. The battery info suggests the following.
When cold, they do not met the Amp requirements of this setup ( QED.. I ran 'warm' 6S45C5000 that logged ~255A peak .. fed across both motors... ergo ~130A each ... ) ..
I maxed 74 with same setup you have, diff/warm batts.

re lift off.. Id check stinger angle ...parallel to tabletop is the goal .... they do move abut when stressed..

Big pussies are definitely more fun.
Took her down to the bird sanctuary late this arvo,, sun settling down for the niight.. the doof doof doof noise from the adjacent micro concert ( 600 ppl ? ) drowned out by her ecstatic scream of enthusiasm as I applied the GO finger.
A field of curious onlookers teleported in .. there will be 70+ new junior members at our local club, if they can convince their father the benefits of a battery powered pussy....
Id be there still, but the pond monster swallowed a prop.. the daft bullet nuts just dont do the same as nyloks ...

I now always use nylock nuts regardless of shaft or thread size.

                                Douggie,
I have been reading your thoughts about music and to some extent I have to agree with you. I see Chuck has a singing bear in Virginia. Mate, even the Kangaroos can sing in Australia, however I thought this video was more suited to the broad minded audience of Skippies and Kiwis
