    Four days!!!!

I just posted a video for Andy on the guitar post prior to reading his latest cry for companionship with the feathered flock. I must be telepathic.

On the topic of props I obtained a Prop Shop 7016/2 for my mono. Now the retailer told me thet came sharpened and balanced. What a load of BULL*!***!***!***!**E !!! It was as unbalanced as any blank I have ever seen and so BLUNT it would not slice soft butter !!!! When I spoke to the retailer he told me that they are good enough for sport boaters !!! but maybe not racers !!!! I told him that a prop like this has NO place on any boat no matter what the intended use. It was polished nicely but took as much work as any blank to get right. Now it is razor sharp and balanced with a little tip cup and some back cut it looks great and runs alright to.
I just ran across a web store here in the USA that advertised the propshop props as being balanced, sharpened, and polished from the factory.

He phoned last night Douggie. He is back but seriously ill from alcohol poisoning. He has video. He has stories of blowing Gas boats to the weeds, from one end of the country to the other, with his electric Predator and Seaducer. Gas Racers are still rooted to the spot in amazement after seeing how fast and reliable some good electric boats are.
Soon you will be reading his stories and looking at the video proof of his amazing boat adventures.

Paddy, good news that he is alive and is under the care of nurses at The Broken Hill hospital. I can not wait to see the shaky video and expletives.

Me too Douggie. He was barely able to breathe as he laid nestled in the ample bosom of Nurse Susie. Always the babe man is Andy. I can just see him in the Hospital bed. His Seaducer on one side of the bed and Nurse Susie's ample bosom on the other side.

Yes I made it back alive, just that is. Boats ran very well and Scooter hit a confirmed 64mph with his falcon cat ( sorry gas ), fastest he has gone so far. So we celebrated, the Seaducer 33 was just as fast and handled multi boat chop better than the cat, so we celebrated. The Raptor was a rocket, so we celebrated and I learned a lot about gas mono set up, so you guessed it we celebrated.
When I get sober will try to do a vid. We got to run with 3 gas guys from Mildura at thier pond near Wentworth. Great guys who throw cash at there boats, one made the mistake ( mike G , a RCU moderator ) to tell me that there are NO FE boats in the country that could finish a race !!!! Well after telling him I did not agree and getting more put downs I just shut up and taped up the Seaducer and showed them !! No more put downs and the other two guys openly stated that it was bloody fast and to top it off it ran approx two race distances. I think that was a win for us poor FE cousins !! with that exception a great day was had by all and a generous bunch of blokes, thanks guys.
So there you go a small report on boating. I can not tell you about what else we got up to but it involved a LOT of beer, red wine etc, *!***!***!***!** and explosives. Oh the things you can get up to in the great Australian bush

Andy uses a lot of explosives on tooth pulling days at the Crocodile farm. If the charge is placed in the correct spot all the teeth come out at the same time.

Thats not an explosion, we would have wrapped it head to tail with Det cord, the yellow one is nice and subtle only 800mtr a sec detonation rate. You have to remember this is a mining town

I took the BBY rigger out today and tested it on 3s. The results are below.

                            3s Zippy Flightmax 30C, Neu 1521 1D, Hydra 240, 2047 = 95.6 kph or 59.4 mph

Considering it is not a good motor for 3s and the prop could have been bigger I am impressed with that speed. It is making me think I should build a smaller one and run it on a better setup and see what I could get from 3s.

Had a blast with the DF 33 as well. I wont go bragging about how fast it was or how good your props are.

I also went flying with the glider.

It has been a fun day. I even got a cuddle at the pond. She came and watched the boat and went for a swim with me. I cant go anywhere without being molested by the opposite sex. This never happened before I started using your props. Do you leave your pheromones on the props or is it my natural charm, good looks and wit?
OK the BBY rigger hit the water again today Andy
                            Results of the previous test...
                            3s Zippy Flightmax 30C, Neu 1521 1D, Hydra 240, 2047 = 95.6 kph or 59.4 mph

                            and today's test...
                            3s Zippy Flightmax 30C, Neu 1521 1D, Hydra 240, 2047 = 97.2 kph or 60.4 mph
The only difference was about 5mm removed from the rudder.

In case others are wondering why I am running on 3s it is because the lake is too small for the speed of this boat on 4s and we have 5s to come yet. I am just doing a little fine tuning at a slower speed.

I still have those other two 2047's to try yet and the strut depth to mess around with Andy.

A teacher from the school came running down and got some pictures of it. I almost asked him if he wanted some boiled sweets and if he would sit on my knee

Thats great Paddy, I still think that rudder could go on a bit more of a diet !! Strut depth must be lifted you have it VERY deep keep bringing it up until you are nearly at a blow off and then drop 1-2mm. This will give great speed gains mate. Give you a call after 7
