Well Paddy I did it again. I bought another heli even smaller than the previous ones. It's only 11.5cm long and is 3 channel with a gyro.

Fumy how my boats keep getting bigger and the helis keep getting smaller.

A few pics to let you know that the Drambuie On Rice is not far from finished. I ran a few volts through the 2215 1.5Y today. I hope to test it in the morning on low volts and a small prop (5s and a X455) just to get the feel for it.

Good idea but it is not one of my holes. I thought I might let the water go in through there to keep the big bugga cool. I am just going to use one of my old Hydra 240 lv's to give her a rather sedate trip around the lake.

Yes but I was expecting a slow speed. The motor is at not at much more than idle on a 5s battery and I have read Jay Turner comments on another thread saying that these motors can spin up to a 67 mm prop and the prop this morning was a 55 mm prop. I wanted to get the feel of the boat as at 55 inches in length is is a whole lot more boat than I am used to. It certainly is no circuit racer as it hops around the corners instead of a nice smooth turn.
