Thanks Scott. I will order the L size one. I have the drive dog and a prop on now. Just one of the plastic ones. I will have to send the metal one to Andy for some of his magic. A 32 mm prop will test his big paws.

Dr W... Thanks for your suggestion. It might have to be one of those as the ones I was thinking of are out of stock. Yours is also $10 cheaper so I presume you would like at least half the money I save for suggesting I buy this one.

Just wondering which motor you would go with here. It is for my OB leg and it has to have the 1/8th shaft. I think you will say go for the L motor. The Mercury canopy will not fit on with the L motor but it would cool it better out in the open anyway.

          Both Feigao

          540 12S 3,180 RPM/Volt 1/8" Shaft

          540 9L 2,887 RPM / Volt 1/8" Shaft

I want to run on 3s and I was thinking of this esc ...

Do you see any problems if I keep prop size 35 mm or below?
Ok folks see if you can all follow this one.
I have an older 12S from Scott that is 2980kv.
I have run it in many hulls on many props and can safely call under 100A if used correctly. 4S and a 632 is abuse

I now have that can in my mid size rigger and spin a 637 with 3S(4500mAh 40C) and the 100A mystery smoke generator is warm after 3 or 4 circuits.
I am not keen to spin a bigger wheel as I do not want this rigger to go quicker than the big one, it has been close once already and I'll not have any more of that

A 12S on a 32mm prop will be fine unless the rest of the setup is totally out of order.
          See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

I can follow everything except the part in red. I would love it if my Xzess 2 was faster than my BBY rigger. I love to watch little things go fast and so does Douggie by the sound of it (all the frogs are on the run in Canada).

that motor still going, dam i spent hours trying to make sure it would detonate after 30,000 rpm

Dont hold motor with your hand.... if it ruptures it's bowels at 100k+ it'll be curtains for your 'love glove' ...

Too late. I am working on this to scare or cook the bloody ducks at my pond. Hit a button on my transmitter and a squirt will go up in flames in their faces as I pass the little buggers with the boat.

These are finished like mirrors. Very nice. Do not give Douggie one as he would put it on his shoe and go looking up skirts at the shopping mall.
