2s Elite 35C 5000, Neu 1515 0.5y, Octura/andym M645 = 74.2 kph or 46.11 mph

Old record
2s Elite 35C 5000, Neu 1515 0.5y, Octura/andym X642 = 65.9kph or 40.95 mph

I made 2 changes and picked up 8+ kph. I removed the turn fin and went for a bigger prop. Andy and I will have further talks about how we can improve the speed on 2s when he is back and has had time to scratch his a$$. Proper SAW sponsons would be a help but Andy might have a few tricks up his sleeve.

Suspicious package found in Hobart

Police have found a suspicious package in central Hobart, and have closed off a major street.

The package was found at a bus stop outside a coffee shop on Liverpool Street shortly before 11am (AEST) on Monday, police said.

They have closed the street to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

Nearby businesses are being evacuated, and the bomb squad has been called.

A police spokeswoman said 'Paddy' was under suspicion, and investigations could lead to his arrest soon.

Ozzie OSE delivered the parts I need for the bottom end of the F1 outboard. You will notice the thread is a little short for the prop nut but I think I can solve that one to some extent. 2 props came, 2 plastic and 1 metal. All I need now is to select a brushless motor and get a servo and the little boat will be ready for action.

Looking good ozzie. That has polished up well. I can see the Queensland sky reflecting in the gloss. Black pussies go faster

Ozzie even my 4s pack will fit in the hull. As you know my target is 40 mph maximum. I would rather run on 3s but you have first hand experience with F1 tunnels. The size of the prop might limit speed a bit also.
Props I have so far are X431 plastic and X 632 Beryllium
If this does not work I will go the REK way. I notice that Ray Fuller has CF OB lower units also or are they REK?

a 431 would be mid 30s i would think.
yea think fullers sell the REK,its a newer version

What esc would you go for here keeping in mind size is a bit important and waterproof would be good?
