    Robert's Spec FE30

Robert wanted to start out with spec power with the option to go P-Sport later. I totally agree - start out learning the ways of Sport Hydro's and power up later.

Setting the strut height with nifty guage, tube for servo-rod pass through ( gives clearance for rod to articulate without binding) and makes for easy to attach bellows. Nylon shear bolt add-on is a must.

      Robert's Spec FE30

Robert has his own UL-1 motor, SC, & servo. I mocked up with my spares. Front hatch retention tabs for safety's sake.

The FE30 has lots of interior room for a clean layout. Looks great in RED !

Thanks, Jim After many decades of building radical choppers, creatively fabbing boats suits my "golden years" way better.

I have an IB 34 Mono on the bench for a customer, then I'll turn this :

                  A Jersey Skiff !

Latest addition to my own fleet; a Jersey Skiff !! Once I finish two scheduled customer builds, this one will be rigged with an AQ 1800KV motor for JS spec racing. More to come once I get the build started.

Steven, I'm really excited to see how they work out. Definitely not for everyone, won't appeal to the go-fasters, but for those that like scale looks, and want some fun, these should be the ticket. Personally, I'm looking forward to having a race class that isn't at warp speed. [ There should be three boats at WWVIII and wer'e hoping to run some heats] .The built in handling "challanges" should make for an interesting driving experience {and I mean that in a good way}. I believe there's real potential here for the growth of this category, and the thread on RRR shows some developing interest from that quarter. The quality is excellent, btw, and they should be easy to rig and a nice creative outlet for paint/graphics. Incidently, I just caught your announcement of the center-mount SPD rudders and they look really perfect for this application, although they'd be side-mounted.

                              Ted's Insane 34 P-Mono

Ted wanted a solid P-Mono. The IB 34 should do the trick with a Neu 1521 1.5D !

Herve (cacaphonix) made a beautiful 4" rail mount which I showcased by contouring the rails to its curves.
