You might need a Pi-Stix if you use one of these.... Might work though...

This board is everything but the FETs. It holds the BEC if it has one, the CPU, driver fets, everything that tells the FETS and the whole esc what to do. THe Aluminum heat sink that it is close I believe draws heat off the 3 driver fets on the board so it touches the board because it's supposed to... I think. I have an XL2 here to go by.

What I plan for my XL-2 is to remove this little board and add more conformal to it so the parts are waterproof on the pcb. I will add conformal to areas of the FET boards where needed then when ready, I'll add Dielectric grease inside this connector on both pcb's, connect it and test it. Once I know it's good to go I will use DP270 to seal it and basically encapsulate it. Not sure if I'll use the old case, water cool it or make my own water cooling blocks. I'll glue them on with Arctic silver non-conductive thermal epoxy.

        Just my .03 worth...

Thanks for the pics. I'll check tonight for comparison. I have a hydra ice 120 and it doesn't match.
