Brushless I ran that wind in my P-Hydro at the nats this year (actually 2035kv) and it it doesn't lose power in the corner, Brian Buass radared it at 69 entering the corner and 67 exiting, not crazy fast but that was in practice when the water was very smooth the SG riggers don't like flat water they pick up 5+ mph in race water, it was much faster in the race. I also used the same boat for my Q hydro with the 1350kv wind on 6S and it was a beast, but neither setups were near as fast as the 1Y on 8s though, it was in a different boat but that boat was easily in the 80's. I personally like the 15 series motors, I've used the 2215 and 2230's and Lehner 20 series and 3040/60/80's and the big Leopards but for race setups I pretty much use 15 series motors across the board from N2 to T setups. I even got them to wind a couple of special 1030kv 1527's I think they're 1.25Y's so I can use them in 8S setups.
