I tested both yours and Eggnegs boat.. dry out of the water before I shipped today and noticed something I didn't notice when it was in the water.. which is the motor.. hums/gallops just a bit only at wide open throttle.. it still seemed to perform fine when it was in the water.. I switched the electronics to make sure that wasn't it, but still got the same noise.. I will gladly throw in an extra motor and found an extra battery pack I will also toss in, I just wanted to make sure that was ok with you before I shipped..
with your ok, I will ship it on Tuesday.. or of course would refund your money or swap the motors before I shipped if you would like.
Let me know how you want to handle it.

I put the mini-c in the pool today (24' diameter) and it's a blast! Just the right size and speed.

Ok.. not to bring up an old thread, but Good news/Bad news for you guys waiting on these boats.

Bad news:
Boats were delayed in shipping:
I got sprayed by a skunk

Good News:
Your boats did ship on Thursday 7/30 Priority Mail.

Oh and I learned a great way to get rid of Skunk smell which I hope none of you ever need to use.

I wanted to apologize for the delay in shipping. Between my birthday, getting sprayed by a skunk , a reunion, and hosting 3 people from out of state for the reunion. I ended up taking most of last week and the one before off from work and consequently, your boats didn't get shipped when I said they would.


As a thanks for your patience and not busting my balls on this:

Silvr; I tore into the boat I was going to ship you when I had some downtime at work. I found that the rear u joint was rubbing the rear hardware.... something had gotten bent somewhere along the way and the motor wasn't running like it should. So I replaced the rear hardware and u joint, and also the motor while I was at it. It made all the difference in the world..runs nice and smooth now. No noticeable problems.. I haven't had a chance to water test so you may need to adjust the rear hardware a bit to get it where you want. Other than that the boat should be ready to run when you get it. I also tossed in an extra battery pack and an extra motor as promised so you have 2 good motors and 2 packs I believe are in good shape. Please let me know if you find any issues when you run it.

I also shipped yours today hull with hardware. As an apology I tossed in a new spare Octura Y531 plastic that I had here. Seemed to be a great prop in my brushless Mini-C on 2S hope you can put it to good use and let me know when everything arrives safe.

Egneg glad you're having fun and hope you two enjoy your boats too...

Will probably be posting the rest of my miscellaneous hulls/parts pieces on Ebay early next week. So anyone that may need a cheap mini-v or mini-c hull or parts let me know before monday.

On a side note the last ten days has been unlike any week I've had in a damn long time.. Between Ebay and my business I normally ship upwards of 3-5 times per week... This should never happen again...
