Thanks meniscus. I jumped the gun a little.
But I did a lot of research and testing and don't think it was any kind of binding. The motor never got hot. Nothing ever got hot. I try to run stuff conservative with still getting a little speed.

I got a buyer lined up right now. I will put it on another controller and run it for a few seconds before I mail it out. I just cant put a load on it with a 120 amp esc.

I am not getting out of fe electrics anytime soon. I got a gas boat, razor 45 and have fun with it, but I have as much fun with the electrics.I got the challenger from steakhouse and it is running great. I just wanted a bigger boat to handle the chop on my lake. My lakes around here are real shallow with a lot of wind. The video clips I have on youtube show it calm. That is not normal.

I need the money so I can buy exhaust headers for my real boat. It is sitting next to the house with grass growing up around it.

I have seen CC esc's blow just by plugging them in. I suspect there is absolutely nothing wrong with the motor!

Ya sure right Doug, now all I need to finish this puzzle is the Hydra 240, a prop and a mentally sane driver!
