but shipping overseas depends alot to were in europe you send the parcle.

if i was to have a vortex shipped from OSE here to norway the etstimate is "Shipping Estimate: $58.70" so you would be suprised over what it can chost to send things overseas.
Norway is rough for shipping, along with a few other places, but this sale doesn't involve those places. Good point though.

my point is that $35 from australia to more or less anywere is not alot.
and sinse i like to use the OSE shipping estimate. from OES to australia it is estimated $63.70 for a vortex.

as you would say. just my 2 cents

I'm interested in seeing the seller's response

I would not be involved, but am talking to the buyer about other items.

        Thank you.

seems like the ose estimates are a little profitable.

Who gives a hoot if he made a small fortune from the shipping, or if he lost his ass on the shipping. The point here is that he packed the boat improperly (regardless of how much he paid in shipping & insurance) IT WAS NOT PACKED PROPERLY RESULTING IN DAMAGE. WTF people

              Down Danny Boy,,,,Down,,,Good Boy

I'm not sure of anywere else, but here insurance is about $1.00 for every $100 in coverage. So it is pretty cheap. Can't imagine its much more anywhere else.

Sellers should insure all shipments. Its in their best intrests.

Curious on the outcome here , as someone else said at least 2.0'+ inches of cushion material for packing , think before you send

The boat was deff not packed correctly for shipping and something needs to be resolved here, either refund his money or compensate him for the damage, is the right thing to do.......

pictures are worth a thousand words in this case.............

best of luck my friend in this matter..........

Well no pm's from hydro111. I wonder....as a buyer do you have the obligation or liability to edjucate and assume that the seller is not shipping savy, therefore requirering buyer to send written instructions on how to properly pack and ship the item? I was assuming that he did have inteligence enough that if he was sending it registered it would be packed apropriately or pay someone to pack it for him.

I have filed a dispute with Pay-Pal so we will see how this pans out.

I would suggest that everyone stays away from purchasing the remaining boats on this listing until things get sorted out.
