ARTR CHEETAH Widebody Cat - Check this out !

    cheetah builds294.JPG DSC03602.JPG DSC03593-1.JPG

    SOLD

I built this boat for Cameron, but his local duck posse is now keeping him from running it, and because I built it and can answer any questions/details, He requested that I post it for him. The sale transaction will be between the buyer and him. I hope this is OK for me to do.

    Details :

    Fightercat 34.24" Cheetah widebody hull
    Leopard 4082 2000KV motor
    FighterCat carbon fiber motor mount
Castle Creations Hydra Ice 240A 8S ESC with datalogging feature
    Speedmaster 60/90 dual pickup rudder
Speedmaster 60/90 .250 skeg strut stepped down to 3/16" shaft and uses stock Speedmaster replaceable bushing
    9/32" stuffing tube with teflon
.187 Aeromarine flex cable with Octura 5mm to 3/16" collet
Traxxas Hi-Torque waterproof servo in OSE servo mount
    custom carbon fiber battery trays
    custom waterline guides
    custom hatch retention anodized/knurled hold-downs
    Octura X448 s&b prop

Using 4S2p 5000mah Dinogys the boat GPS'd at 57.1 mph and can handle propping up for more. It handles like a dream and carves turns far better than the narrower scale offshore cats.

The boat has less than 30 minutes runtime on it. FWIW after building this for Cameron I was so in love with the hull that I built one for myself nearly identically other than a 1900KV motor and a FCR 240A ESC {which unsoldered a board lead and now runs the old version Hydra 240 and a bigger prop - it totally rips with an X452 btw}.

I'm posting pictures of the boat during the build; first with a T-180 which was replaced with the CC240A 8S Hydra. My original graphics were changed by Cameron to his liking. (MonoJeff has a nice windshield available) A picture of the boat as it's now decorated is below as well

All that is needed is a Tx/Rx and batteries and you'll be up/running/jammin'

Price : $850 firm and purchaser pays shipping. Once agreed upon, I'll put buyer and Cameron in touch for transaction details

(see next post for picture of boat with the current graphics - could only post 5 pix on this post)

MonoJeff has a nice windshield decal for the hatch; it's visible in the video below

I realize this is a little irregular, but lacking a vid of Cameron's Cheetah I'll post this vid of mine which is almost exactly identical except his runs a 2000KVmotor and an X448. Mine runs the same size motor only 1900KV but I'm propped up to an X452 and a FCR 240A ESC which unsoldered a lead inside the control at the end of the vid.
(I also stuck on some UL-1 fins )

    This is one IMPRESSIVE boat

It's 13 3/8" across the back of the deck on top. When aired out on the last sponson step it has 9" in the water.

A 2000KV motor on 6S is going 44,4000 rpm. Can you say KABOOM ?

Larry, It's a stock Cheetah hull. I might have mislead by calling it a widebody - it's just wider than most of the scale-looking offshore hulls. I would never own the scale-clone cats 'cause I like to go more than in a straight line and have to back way off to turn. Oh wait - My Drifter S is the current NAMBA P-Ltd Offshore SAW National Record Holder - it's of the "scale design". It goes like stink but corners like King Henry XIII.
