Hello Guys,
today is my SAW project for 135, a HPR 135, for sale.
HPR 135 SAW-Projekt
hull:
HPR 135 in the bullet proof version, carbon/cevlar hybrid as well as pure carbon fibre was use. The tunnel as well as the whole upper deck are with sandwich laminate. The hull is really strong, weight was an amazing 3375 for the empty hull. For stiffness look the photos.
At SAW in Germany (Regattabahn Duisburg) I had some really very hard crashes at high speeds. There the hull showed some weaknesses. I repaired them all and also reinforced the hulls at these points. For such projects there is no guarantee but I'd be surprised if it breaks again at these points. I also stopped these as good as possible. If interested I could have the hull professionally stopped and painted with primer/base coat or uni-color in a car garage for a low bargin.
hatch:
The hatch is a custom made one and unique at the moment. Its completely Aramid/Kevlar and therefore suitable for GPS-use. Average thickness is about 7mm, should be enough. Its secured with 6x M4 countersunk screws, the countersunk was directly integrated in the mould. Therefore the weave was not damaged. You'll also get a 2nd spare bullet-proof hull by HPR and an air-scoop.
engines:
The motors are a pair of LMT 3040/6. I used them in Wye-connection, giving a 10.4 turn motor. Max efficiency is around ~220A and nearly 10kW per motor. In Delta-Connection up to 2x 10S are possible, in Wye-Connection I used them up to 2x 13S. You'll also get suitable well soldered cables as well as very well soldered Wye-bridges. Also special modified rear motor supports and suitable clutches for 10mm to 6.35mm flex.
ESC's:
As its a SAW project the suitable ESC is the Schulze future 40.160 of the old series. And you'll get three of them to have a spare one. All of them are in excellent condition and have been this year (May 2011) serviced by Schulze. They also feature 4x additional 220µF caps and a connection for the external anti-spark device you'll get. When used with 2x 12S in Wye Connection the ESC's get barely warm.
Lipos:
You'll get three full sets of lipos:
-2x 12S 5000 mAh 40C
-2x 12S 5000 mAh 45C Turnigy Nanotech
-2x 10S 5000 mAh 40C
From all packs I changed the cables to 8mm² Kabel by Nessel and LMT bullet connectors. All soldering connections where checked and re-soldered carefully. All the packs are fully SAW-suitable and have great performance. For the ones who have doubts, ask Timo Heinrich about the performance of my Lipos.
You'll also get 2x 1S Lipo as an extra. Specially configured to be able to connect them on request resulting in 2x 11S or 2x 13S in combination with the 10S or 12S packs mentioned above.
props:
as for sure you'll also need some props:
-Octura X447 Andy Brown: with 2x 12S "everyday use possible" 150-160km/h and runtime around 3min
-Octura X457 Andy Brown: tempered pair, brand new never used these
-Octura X457 Andy Brown: special order with 1.6" pitch, run only once
-Octura X470 red. 60mm Andy Brown: 1/4" DD, 1.4" pitch, run only twice
hardware:
-rudder: original HPR 135 Ruder, blank
-drives: Special custom made by Christian "Die Feile" following my drawings. Absolutely suitable for SAW purpose, took a lot of hours to make these but they are worth the effort.
flex drives:
-1x set 3/16" DD
-1x set 1/4" DD
-1x spare shaft 1/4" DD
-4x prop shaft 1/4" DD
build:
Everything is built for SAW use, motor mounts are 7mm thick with nomex honeycomb sandwich. Weight is only 45g per piece but ultra-stable. On both sides the seam is reinforced with two layers of weave. The lipo mounts feature an adjustability of around 180mm and are CNC cut out of 2mm PrePreg material. These are glued in with aquarium silicone. The servo mount is also custom made out of a mold and ultralight and very stable. The servo is a Savöx SC 1256 with titanium gear.
additional:
-2x rudder blade HPR 135
-1x AVS anti spark device, in my opinion absolute necessary for more than 10S
-8x spare bearings for the drives (made in Germany), 4x normal, 4x flanged
-Catpower emergeny cutoff-System
-antenna mount for 40MHz antenna oder 2.4Ghz
performance (everything in Wye-configuration):
-2x 10S, Octura X457: 175km/h TopHeat lt. SAW Messung
-2x 12S, Octura X457: 192km/h TopHeat lt. SAW Messung, lt. GPS very close to 200km/h
-2x 13S, Octura X457: 208km/h lt. GPS
-2x 12S, 60mm custom props by a friend: 210.2km/h, measured with two indepented GPS
price: 7000$ asking price + shipping
(shipping in 2-3 seperated and insured parcels, worldwide possible)
A function guarantee is not possible any more in this class but the setup is definitely capable of speeds above 200km/h (125mph).
The use is on your own risk, acceleration and performance are extraordinary
