I would change them anyway I never use 4mm connectors unless its a low amp setup less than 70 amps.

5.5mm connectors are so much better.

The wires coming out are stiff winding wires so like the leopards, don't cut them. They may seem like thin wires coming out but, they are quite solid.

If you need to extend the wires for some reason, keep to 12G or 10G and as short as possible.

The motor is already setup with (Castle) 5.5mm connectors, so be sure to use them on the ESC...The 4mm just won't cut it.
          Enjoy!

Let us know how it runs for you. Its a beast of a motor in a small package.

A beast it is! It's just ridiculous on 4s! My wife was not really into boats, she thought she was all that with her Savage Flux HP, until she saw my MG throw down a standing backflip!

I'm really impressed with this motor... I cannot say enough about it!

Thanks again to those who supported me or knocked me for putting this in the MG

Glad you like it...I had it in my VS-1 on 4S and it was "smoke on the water"! I run the 36-65-1 in my FE-30. It runs like the NEU 1515 1Y but for a lot less $$.

2 more people here see the potential of ARC motors. Congratulations on the sale and the purchase. Now, if we can get ARC to make a 40mm motor.

They have a 3665 2080KV. I sold mine as I did not see it having enough KV for me.

Maybe in hindsight I sold it too fast, seeing another possible reason for its not so peppy performance in my Whiplash. I think I had a loose drive dog... oh well.

                        It's in Isreal now.

Now I would like to see what a 36 75 can would do in a Whip20 with 2200Kv.

Ken Joye tried an ARC 3675 1680kv in his larger Whiplash on 6S and it went 60mph.

                          I'd love to drop a 36-75-1 2200Kv in my FE-30...where do I get one!

They sell arc motors there, Alex? Site is down for maintenance.
