    Blackjack 26 hull/hardware

    SOLD
I got this off of OSE a few weeks back in a trade and have decided not to use it. Its a little small for what I want to do so its going on the chopping block. I dont know much about the boat other than its had an epoxy repair in the front (reason for the custom pain) and it looks to have had a couple of the mods that most people reccomend done to it (turn fins angled in, battery trays removed).

Asking $95 + pp fees shipped CON US (+$10 for far western states please)

I bought this boat because I was told it's a nice boat and I will like it. I was told it had a epoxy repair but it was not bad. I received it yesterday and after checking it out I feel the seller did not provide info that if I had received I would not have bought it. It is in bad shape and needs allot of repairs. There are holes that have been filled with epoxy and cracks that have not been repaired right. I feel I cant trust the seller at his word. I have posted pic's and emails to see if any members agree with what I said.
              Joe M.

I removed email addresses and PP info from this email.

Sorry I haven't replied sooner I still haven't made it home tonight!
Yes I would need $110 shipped, it is going to cost around $40 just to ship it. Its a nice boat though, I'm sure you'll like it. The holes on the transom have been filled. The turn fins have been relocated to aid in handling, its a common mod for the bj26. Also the battery trays have been removed and velcro put in, and the tupperware box that the stock esc and servo are in has been removed. All of that is to lower the center of gravity.

In the first pic on the right side there is a point of light it is a hole about 1" down on the inside of the runner.
The 2nd pic shows cracks above the turn fin.
3rd and 4th and 5th pic's show the repair job done.

These pic's show more of the repair. It looks like the top was broken open like a can.
I paid $110 US for it.

I removed the stickers from the boat to prepare it to strip down and repair it the right way.

I dont know what you've done to that boat, you have obviously started sanding it or something?

jmsask didnt even buy this boat off of OSE, he bought it off of RCU. I had it listed for $95 shipped and he offered me $110 shipped to Canada, which I accepted. He then asked about the epoxy repair and whether or not you can tell it had been repaired. I told him yes, you can. He then asked for more pictures in which I posted and sent pictures of the boat from both sides, back, bottom, and front. I then received an email from him saying the "damage" was too extensive, and that he didnt think it was worth $110 shipped and offered me $80. I laughed it off (Seeing I knew it was going to cost me around $40 to ship it) and planned on responding to him next time I was near a computer. Before I ever got a chance to respond, he sent me 3 more messages askign about the boat, one of which was asking why there are holes in the back, which I answered, and another saying that he still wanted to buy the boat anyway for $110 so I went ahead and sold it to him. He was provided pictures of the boat in the EXACT shape it was in when I sent it, and an accurate description as well.

                      To jmsask:

I wish you hadnt sanded the boat, I would have been fine with taking it back if you hadn't messed with it.

Also, I received the boat from another OSE member and never ran it of changed anything other than taking out the tupperwear container. When I got it, I was told it had an epoxy repair, and was provided with one side view picture. I got it based on that, and when I received it, it was EXACTLY what I expected it to be. However, it looked nothing like the pictures you just posted when I received it, or when I sent it to you.

Any other members of OSE that have made transactions with me(including the one I got this boat from) are more than welcome to post your feelings here. I have bought and sold $thousands$ on this site and get this from someone I internationally shipped a hull to for $110. Unbeleivable.

The seller was also clear on the price before he bought the boat. I would have had no problem paying $70 + shipping for it myself

This is the email about the price. I offered him $80 and he replied with the email in my first post. His post was for $95 + shipping

I did make the deal on RCU but we emailed each other about it posted on both sites.
I can't leave feedback about the sale on RCU because I was not sent a invoice from the site. I did tell the seller I would post my feelings here on this site because he pulled the add from RCU the day I sent the payment.

All I have done is remove the stickers nothing else has been done to the boat. The pic's in the first post were taken at the time I did the post.
I sent a email to him as soon as I received the boat informing him I was not happy with it and received no reply from him(yesterday afternoon).
I did see he was online that day.
