I was waiting to see if there was going to be any running tomorrow and hoping Encore was better sheltered than Ackerman. I was thinking about dropping in because I sure won't be flying.

Not boating videos but there were some brave pilots that flew in the outrageous winds at the Warbirds over Sarasota event yesterday. YouTube play list (9 videos) https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...v0Pl-SwvynoHNj

9.30 am and the water is dead flat at Encore. The wind is behind your back and the course is some what sheltered. BG

hey guys I am having a brain fart and need some input. I need to buy some battery backs for my q offshore. I used to have a couple of 6s flat packs but I have not had any luck finding them. I am either going to buy some 6s brick packs and change them around or I am just going to get some 3 s packs. My question is about the 3 s packs. Since I will be running 2 batteries in series to create a 6s pack, how does that effect the mah rating of the batteries? Basically I want 6s 5000 packs. So do I need to get 4 3s5000 or 4 3s2500?

Running two 3s packs o 2500 gives you 6s 2500. Parallel doubles the mah but voyage stays the same.

                                Two 3S -5,000 in series = 6S -5,000
                                Two 3S -5,000 in Parallel = 3S -10,000

If you want to end up with 6S 2P - 10,000
You will need Four packs of 3S -5,000
