I went to Ackerman early this morning to avoid the heat. Got there about 7:00 and covered the place pretty good. All the area from the palm trees on the west side to even with the concrete slab on the east. Hopefully it will do the trick and last for the advertised 6 months.

I believe that is true the next date is 9-28. I have it marked on my calendar. I'm not messing up again.

I knew we killed the 2nd Sunday run for August, but wasn't sure about Sept since it's the beginning of fall. (even if the temps don't feel like it)
Unless I hear different, I'll just plan on flying this weekend. (weather permitting)

Just got the word that I won't be flying this weekend after all. The county has the park closed for paving the access road.
An inconvenience, but one that will be worth it as the old dirt road going up the hill washes out (monster ruts) every time it rains hard.
