Scott, that's pretty wild and the logo looks good too. The sponsons might be a little too fat but other than that it looks good. I left you a message a couple days ago, I'll call you tomorrow.

Thanks Scott. The decals came out perfect. I was worried about how the silver was going to look but it was perfect. I couldnt see the actual color until it was applied. It didnt need the clear over it as it had a shine of its own. The pictures dont do it justice. My boss flipped out when he saw the pictures. He sent them up to corporate. I was really hoping you were going to show up with that beast this week. I was looking forward to the sound of twin gassers screaming. The finished hull looks awesome. I'll have to get together with you for more intense graphics. for my next one.

I like the logo we have. You can tell what it is when you look at it, and it looks good. That one... not so much.

I somewhat agree with Brian. We don't do a lot of hydros any more (and in favor of a logo change) but the front view of the cat was not really appealing to me. Too abstract.

Guess we have a bunch of boring "normal" people in our club. Im sorry I wasted my time doing it. I thought it was pretty bad ass myself and personally hate the hydro. If you guys wanna logo change anyone is welcome to take a stab at it. Im not trying again. that took 3 hours to get as close to finished as it is. I worked on it another 30 minutes afterwards but no point in posting the revisions. I really thought I was on a roll here and texted it to a few as it was being created and got nothing but raving reviews before I posted it here.

Scott, the logo we have is awesome and certainly is not boring or normal for that matter.
On the Hydro note, Dave runs a Hydro, Chris runs hydros and was telling me he's building a LSH. Ray just built one and Larry will be coming down soon. I'm looking forward to running some hydros !

Okeedoke. Apparently it was when u had your troubles and were not attending for a while we had a meeting and discussed changing the logo. Just about everyone spoke up and said yeah thatd be cool. Jason was gunna do some art work and it hadnt happened so i finally took the time to try. We had discusesed getting ready for new shirts etc. Its been several months we all discussed it and as usual it fell between the cracks. Thats where this all came from. I didnt just up and try to change stuff. But im done w it. We will keep everything as is.

Ya know I hate to agree on something I'm not a part of, but I for one think Scotts logo is a pretty strategic and well thought out design... It's yes abstract and a bit modern (so are our 70c lipos) but the logo also doesn't just make you look at it and say "oh they have a boat", or they are a member at a marina...lol ... It's got enough to make you look and think what is that... It's cool but what is it? Then you read it and realize what it is... And it all makes sense in a funny, cool way. Much more catchy then a lot of stuff I see these days.... And if the sponsons looked exactly like sponsons it would lose it's luster.


Just my .02 cents as I thought the logo was pretty 2014, if ya wanna live in the past go run some nimh's :)

But really is none of my business.... I'm actually envious of all of you in FL when our NE winter is coming fast!
