Hey Ron sorry for the late answer. Just got back from a long need vacation. Yes I was there on the May 27th. You are right i dont think I used your old DX3S that day. The only boat I ran was my Geico and It was rigged with a traxis radio.

I'm not sure why Jon didnt get a shot of any of your four boats but next time we will make sure he gets some. His pictures are usually much better on a real race day!

I got stuff I'd like to run (if nothing else test) but afraid it's going to be a total washout-blowout. The way I see it the rescue boat would be about useless. It would probably make it out to one pretty fast but would have a heck of a time coming back to shore against that much wind. It's predicting to be about like the day that Hugh drove his car to the far side of the lake to recover his. I think the boat got there before he did too.

If enough say they want to brave it I'll bring the rescue battery down but not planning to charge any packs for running myself.

Yeah Im thinking the weather will be worse tommorrow than today if that low keeps drifting north. Its been cloudy here most of the day with just a little real precip. Im going to sit this one out.

I have a feeling that by the time Debby is done we'll be able to launch our boats from the steps. Hope we'll still have some visible markers.

I left sunny CA to come to a wet and rainy florida. Was thinking about bringing a boat, but after Nationals i was a little burnt out on the boating. Glad i didn't cause Debbie doesn't look like she is gonna let the waters lay flat anytime soon.

Is making for an interesting vacation. Even during a tropical storm it is still warm outside so that is cool, but getting sand blasted on the beach isn't the greatest and i wouldn't dare go in the water as it looks like it could take you somewhere you don't want to be real fast.

Oddly enough today has been pretty dry in Bradenton (so far). Still getting plenty of wind though.
