Have you guys seen the forecast for this weekend ? It does't look very good. I've got two new boats to test out, and the wind has not let up for weeks and doesn't look like its gonna stop any time soon !

It actually appears to be tapering off toward the weekend by the usairnet site I use. It only makes it to Saturday morning so far but showing it at a calm 6 mph for Sat morning at 7:00 am. Sure beats the 20's and gusting to 30's we've been having so far.Comment

Ive been following it as well. Unfortunately Im not going to make it there anyhow. Should be the last of my screwed up weekends. Ill be there for race day.Comment

If it's any kind of weather fit, I plan to be there. I've made some changes on the Falcon cat that I want to test and have put the 5692 Lep that I had into the Arapaho. Gonna see how it will run on 6s with a T180.Comment

A gentleman named Joe contacted me today and is interested in joining the club. I gave him the run down, NAMBA membership, run days etc. Apparently the hobby shop on 53rd is telling folks we run Saturdays? Anyway, Joe has both Proboat Impulses and is looking to have some fun. I mentioned to him to follow us on here and walked him thru to navigate to this page here on OSE. If you guys do run this weekend, which its not looking bad, I told him if he goes to track down Bill (34207) So Bill, if you dont mind keeping an eye out.
And also Bill, make sure you disable the BEC on the 180 or you may not get a lap.Comment

It's starting to look like Sunday is going to be another blow out. http://www.usairnet.com/cgi-bin/laun...=KSRQ&state=FL Starting off at 10 mph at 7:00 and climbing to 19 by 10:00
I'm having withdrawals but it's looking like a small craft advisory kind of day. Anybody want to run Sunday?Comment

I have some new boats to test, but not offshore models. Watching our post and the weather. I have to drive 100 miles to come and play, so I want to make the trip worth the time and gas money.Ted H. Wachter

I hear you on that. I just checked it again,http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/...:34230.1.99999 and it looks better for Sunday. The forecast I'm looking at shows 5 -10mph now instead of 10 - 15mphLast edited by RCKong; 03-09-2012, 09:51 AM.Comment

I'm willing to come out Sunday as long as I won't be the only one there. It will be rough "offshore" type conditions though. Even with the bigger boats it will be interesting. Y'all let me know what you want to do and I'll charge some packs when we decide.Comment
