I'm home. Got here about 9:00. Got most of my "stuff" unloaded and have both tapes loaded into the computer and a shower. That's about as far as I'm going to get tonight though. I was running on "E" before the drive home.

You should be able to play pit man. There's plenty of us that could use one. I had Jeff helping me today and he did great. He was for sure overworked though. Think he was a pit man on every heat he wasn't racing in.

wish u had been here recording today bill.....my hand was shakeing so bad lol......could hardly hold the steering wheel.....had wilmer spotting for me....i hit the start jus right in lane one pulled lane one all around the first and second turn pulling away but at least 5 mph down the back stright and absolutly pulverized the offshore bouy at about 40mph and rolled it......next heat i am about 3rd got to the offshore bouy and hit a wake at the turn and rolled it......third heat i figure ill stay back since i am not in the fray and pull off 11 and 1/4 laps and win that dam heat at least i was the only boat still proppeller side down lol..live and learn

I had the honor of winning the Concourse award today (static judging all scale boats). I also won 1/10 scale modern and got the traditional toss in the lake! Sorry to toot my own horn but pretty excited about it. Tomorrow I will have a chance to set the 1/8 mile record for 1/10 scale modern.

One more day! We are all bone tired but having a ball!
