I'm going to get back into going to my shop and working on boats since my knee is finally letting me get around a bit. Also got my van fixed so now I have wheels! Picking up a wheelchair lift for the back of my van today so I don't have to have help getting the chair out of the inside of my van. Maybe there is hope in the New Year after all! ;-)

I spent a little time on the 1/8 hydro yesterday. Converting the beast from a former nitro to electric is real tricky. I have to build a hatch with the dummy motor on it. Weird shape to the deck makes this a b-e-a-t-c-h!

FWIW.. I'll be bringing my SV27R with the intent of selling it before I put it in the swap shop and on eBay.

If anyone knows of someone who may want it, please let me know. There's a little damage (nothing severe) to the nose where I struck a marker that has been glassed over.

I'd like to realize $150 for it with the upgrades.

The Pickle has been recommissioned due to lack of interest. Put a new Ul1 motor in yesterday for Clay - Runs great. He will be competing in LSH. Lock the doors and hide the virgins

Hey guys. Just wanted to bring you up to date on todays findings. I ran the HPR w/ the GPS. First run (as I ran it at Ackerman) ran 66.4mph. I swapped the props to my 442s that are detongued and cupped and ran a 71.5.

Im curious to see if it has the a cahones to turn 447s. For those who do not know the set up, Castle 1520 1600KV motors powered by Ettis Opto 150s running 6S1P per side. The Ackerman runs and first run today was on stock only sharpened and balanced 442s. So far, my motor temps have not exceeded 77 degrees, batterries have not gone over 88 and ESCs have not gone over 109.
