I think what Jeff was sayin, and I support it, was to go to one of their regular monthly events to get a feel for organized heat racing for those of you who havent experienced it before.. Some of us have been to their events and it has been alot of fun. Secondly, the ones who want to compete at the Nats, will get a chance to run on the sponsoring lake.. I dont think its an 'either or' issue, but more as a way for those in our group to develope if they desire. I totally understand there may be some that dont wish to compete more than what we do in our regular events, but for those that do, we should support that.

I certainly agree about going over to the Waveblasters meets. There is no substitute for actual organized racing. What we do at Akerman doesn't really count that much since we're running against our friends in an informal manner.
Once you get in an organized event, the adrenaline and knee knockin' will kick in. No way to get over that until you do it a few times!
I still ain't worth a crap at driving in any situation and unfortunately my physical condition hasn't allowed me to do much for a while now! Dang!Mini Cat Racing USA

I hope we can get the majority of our club to go over and race with the waveblasters. I am hoping that the classes I am going to be running at the nats fall on the weekend so that I don't have to go over during the week.
I need some ideas for paint on my rigger. What do you guys think? No pink by the way.Last edited by obrien; 01-03-2011, 01:54 PM.Comment
