Will the Brandon race offer electric classes? I really don't want to do the ONE 'open' class again. Sit around all day/weekend for a few heats. Thoughts?

I spoke with Don Riek of the Brandon club, and he is willing to let us run 3 classes if we can show enough support. Basically we need to get as many boats as possible to run each class to make it worth while. He willing to drop a small gas class with only a couple of boats if we can make a good showing.
I suggest p-mono, LSH, and a spec class that we can get the SV's, cats, and other v bottoms to run in. Let me know what you guys think.Comment

I spoke with Jim, Mike, and Hugh tonight. I left Ray a message. Hopefully we can get Rick and his buddy (sorry can't remember his name right now) to join in the Spec open class with their SV's. I left Ray a message so hopefully I will hear back from him soon. IT would be great to have 5 or so boats per class, which will be no problem in LSH. Mike will hopefully know later this week if he can make it.Comment

Would be a shame if we can't field 3 OPC boats at the "Herb Stewart Memorial" race. I can put mine together, it won't be competitive, but I can round out the class if necessary.
I'll do P-Mono and P-Spec Sport Hydro (psuedo LSH).
I will start a thread for this race both here and on RumRunner.
Remember, this is a D3 race. Radio Impound! No Parking at the tent, etc.

Count me in for LSH, the open class with my spec cat. Not sure about my P mono. Got problems with it. If I can get it fixed, count me in for that class as well. I'm working on an OPC spec boat. Not sure it will be ready in time.
I can only make it if they allow me to park my van in what has always been the handicapped area. Last time I was there, they ran me off even though I had a handicap tag. I was parked next to Herb!Mini Cat Racing USA

I'm working on a tunnel now. Hope to be able to run it.

Is Don going to let us run 4 classes? I don't want to get ahead of ourselves here. Lets get a confirmation on who can run and what classes we would like to run before we carried away. I will call Don tomorrow to see how many boats we can run per heat.Comment
