Found out why the Miss G twin wouldnt turn. I knew it was turning better when I ran it here. Three of the four corners of the servo mount broke loose so it was swiveling. Me and steering today didnt get along..... between the first run on the DF and the "go wide" std.... On another note, I grabbed my second wind and took the DF apart. Did whoevers suggestion it was to add a piece of 7/32 into the interior side of the stuffing tube. I also put my standard silicone tubing at the end to help keep the grease and water from oozing out. I took the strut loose and slid on a piece of shrink wrap and covered the connection between the nose of the strut and the stffing tube as well. I know this was the trick that stopped my Genesis from leaking. She's all back together and greased so we'll see. Oh I also did the tub dunk test and no bubbles at all.

A larger twin drive class sounds cool... I'm selling my genny and getting a new DF. It's a wider hull and more stable for turns. I Already have a complete twin setup for it. Also should have my 1/8 hydro ready for the next meet.

Damn, think I just lost my post.

Anyway, my wifes' rowing club is having an event on our lake 10/22/11 to benefit Hospice. They have asked if our club would like to do a demonstration after the rowing competitions at ~ 10:00 am. I will be out of town fishing that weekend , but will provide a recovery boat and can still handle the logistics if ya'll are interested. Should be good exposure. Let me know. Thanks.

that seems like a small prop considering the size of the motor ?

the 1340kv pulls less amps than the 750 or 1050kv motors. hopefully more effecient

Might seem small but that little prop will still bring a 10s 1p 5800ma set of packs down to storage voltage in a 6 lap run.

Before I put it in the swap shop thought I'd see if any of our gang wants the Leopard 5692 1000kv motor setup that used to be in my 47" mono before changing it to the 2028.
Probably has a dozen 8s runs on it (used it at the FE Nats) Comes with WRP 5" rail mounts, HRC full length cooling jacket, 6mm to .250 coupler and thrust bearing. 8mm OSE bullets on motor and will find the matching females for the esc end. Looking for $150 for the package.
