I wanted that Drifter S from the first 2 threads it was in. I'm soooo glad I waited, I like the Baby Freya much better!!

Diego and I have been talking about having a little run this evening over by my place in Greenbrier. I'm planning on running the Viper with the new wire drive and a different prop than before. The Viper has not run since I lost the last wire drive.

Speaking of which, I'm planning on putting kayaks in the water and attempt to retrieve the old wire drive with a very large bar magnet since it has attached to it a prop that is very dear to me, LOL.

If everything goes our way, we will be getting video of the boats on hand and may even see a maiden voyage!

So, if anyone else is interested in coming out, come on. You can post your intentions or give me a call. Diego or I can give you directions.

Note: We will have kayaks in the water for retrieval purposes, so if you have something you've wanted to try, but are concerned about flipping it and not being able to get it back with a RC retrieval boat, bring it out!

Guests are welcome as well! If you don't have something to run, I'm sure that I have something you could zip across the lake with.

the damage is already done..you ever wondered why nobody wants to run with you and ben? its almost painfull just to meet up and try to run boats..when i was running boats you never had something that would run.had 17 boats and one would run but you never had battery charged..always something,no batts,no radio,no crystal, the list goes on..now you throw a tantrum and close the thread and you say you aint power hungry..i started the thread i can close it..if you were not a mod you couldnt have done it be you are abusing your powers and the police light bar is a prime example of your mod status going to your head..you ever join odmba and decide to race with them i will buy a boat to just see that happen..if you would just calm down and take some of your own advice maybe you wouldnt alienate everybody you meet..now chucks gone and ben is always with the wife..now what??

If I was not a mod, I'd just ask one to close my thread and it'd be done. It happens all the time on forums.

Closing the thread was not a tantrum, but call it whatever you want, you seem to be on a roll jumping to conclusions already. I closed it because there is obvious tension between others (not me) in the group, It has reached critical mass on the red board and I don't think there is any reconciling there, therefore the thread served no purpose.
Do I alienate people from me, Maybe I do, but it's unintentional. Do I possess said "better than you" syndrome? On the contrary, I have such a LOW self esteem that I think everyone is better than me. You know of my self esteem, I don't know why you even think that. There are very few things I can do well, Of those, boats are not part of it. So If I come off with a "better than you" tone, it'd be with computers. I used to look to you for tips on boating, boat driving, radio settings, cell phones, car repair, plumbing, window tinting, and that list goes on and on. I even told you that I could never run nitro because it takes a talent and finess that I don't have. (1/4 turn here, etc...) I was dumbfounded. Maybe you and your electrics were more accepted because you ran nitro with them. I don't run nitro, never will because I can't, or because I'm afraid to try. I guess that makes me have the "better than you" syndrome. I don't know. Airing my dirty laundry on a public forum to make yourself look/feel better at my expense, Go right ahead. You know enough about me, but don't look for a fight, because in that respect, I AM BETTER THAN YOU. I wouldn't do it to you my friend.

                P.S.
As for the police light bar, I just like police lights. I wanted to put'em on my hydrofoil, then I put then on the WSP10 I sold, now they're on my American Enterprise. Sorry If I like police lights. Avatar removed to satisfy Dirtysouth31.

This is true. I freely admit I have made her my first priority and I'm happy with that decision.

I've been doing more things with my wife this summer as she wants to get in shape. I have supported that and I have been nothing but honest. Meanwhile, I've been getting more people involved in the hobby wherever I can. I don't even talk about all the folks I get interested because I'm not into the chest beating.

My offer still stands Don. If you'd like to come out and run a boat, I'm more than happy to make sure you can run one of mine.
                      __

Now, since Chuck obviously has an issue with me for things I've never said, I am willing to step out for the sake of the group. It's kinda funny that he can state he has no issue with me and all of a sudden, he's publicly bashing me again. What is the point?
                      __

To be perfectly honest, I'm here to have fun and it seems that some want to play games. I really hope that for everyone's sake, we can move forward and enjoy this hobby together and accept one another for who they are. That is all I have done and here I am doing it again.

It is up to you personally whether or not you want to meet, have fun running boats, and enjoy the hobby. Nothing more, nothing less.

                      Your decision.

If it's acceptable to you guys, let's put together a class that my viper can run in. I'm most comfortable with that boat, and I'll do my best not to hit anything and everything in the water!

Hi Diego...I believe that would fall under the P-Hydro class (4S)...same as the Rigged Insanity.

Cool, Now does a rigger get to run in the same class as a hydro? I don't pay attention to the rules/ classes/ etc... because I never intended on competitive racing before.

Yes...and if Nautiboys builds a Vacu-pickle over the winter, I might finally finish my Insanity and run with him and whoever else fits that category.
