I take that back, I'd only need one since I'm running in series.

I have one if you have a Deans "Y" connector it should work.

Diego, you may have a little challenge on your hands.

If I had to guess, Chuck's hydro was going right around 55, but you have the GPS.

We had a little challenge with the cats. I think its resolved to a draw. My ESC was programmed for lipos and didn't get to run them because of connections and Chuck used some batteries that were dying. I'll change them over to deans before i come to the pond again.

The flag should be a decal for the UL-1 and on the back it will say follow me! But I have to admit that I am in the middle of repairs for the sponson that the turn fin is mounted to ... never fear as I am following the mods posted by Darin and will be up and running next week. Diego may I suggest nitrous-oxide for the viper!

P.S. I think Loch FEMBOT is getting a bit small!

No kidding! The pond did look small while you were skirting the shore as you came around, LOL!

So that little hop justified some reinforcement repair?

Diego, you could always try the HHO through a turbine

Say, I may have to get some wings or other material to attach to my rigger, making it technically a hydro. What do you think of that Egneg? Where are the rules? Oh yeah I remember, they flew out the window the first time we met at the pond. LMAO

Not sure if it was that or the stress from turning at WOT.

Understood. I would think that the lateral impact forces are at play when there's a spike in lateral G's or pressure when twisting.

In any case, it happened, its fixable, and you're fixing it.

Now for some friendly TRASH TALKIN'

Next time the Viper hits the water against the UL-1, it'll end like this...

Diegoboy = with his H&M Viper

                    Egneg = with his UL-1

Meniscus = with his Oberto Hydro

                    Diegoboy brings home the Flag!
                    ...while Egneg

You have too much free time! LMAO!

Hey, how come I'm 3rd? Little do you know I'm running opposite polarity to the water, resulting in more lift, less friction, and ultimately more speed

On second thought, there's always sabotage. :) J/K

So does that mean we class riggers with hydros like everyone else? Either way, I OWN the rigger flag

Here's a new challenge for you guys.

Next run we have, each of us (except me) will announce all boats they wish to enter for this challenge. The winner will get the Garmin pictured below.

                              Now for the

                              1) Each participant must be a member of Team FEMBOT.
-----> New members that show up @ the pond for this run are eligible as long as they join the team.

                              2) Each boat entered can only have one (1) run.
-----> Enter as many boats as you like

                              3) Only FE boats can be entered. No scale boats such as tugs, or ships etc...
-----> There will be NO flags awarded for this event.

                              4) Run your boat however you please (WOT or not), but NO stops. once the boat makes a complete stop, time is up.

                              5) The boat that has the longest runtime will be the winner!

                                Hmmmm... Interesting proposition.

Well, looking at my small fleet, I have the following options:
                                • Renegade Rigger - I don't think this will work
                                • BJ26 - I could run 12 cells in parallel, 24 cells total @3800mah nimh, but there's too much surface area when its not fully on plane
                                • ZZR3 - on 7 cell nimh, this could work potentially
                                • Gorilla - Jeff could run on 12 cells in parallel, 24 cells total @5000mah nimh, but it may sink, LOL
                                • New CF Rigger - Probably won't be ready and won't be a contender for this challenge
                                • Tubero - needs work, but I'm not sure it would last that long with the powerplants I have available
                                • PX-16 Cat - not ready, but could go brushed with same batt setup as BJ26 - 12 cell parallel, 24 cells total
                                • Oberto - is a possibility, but will sit way low in the water running on nimh

I think I stand little chance of this challenge, unless I take a milk jug and put a motor in it, LOL! I think I'd enter the ZZR3 and watch someone else outlast me, especially since I've been having all kinds of issues with those batteries and haven't got a run in on that for more than 2 mins lately.

Diego, you can talk all you want. You currently have the Rigger flag by default and assuming my Renegade is slower than yours due to epoxy. I'm thinking my CF Rigger will be on the water before you get close with you Graupner. Then we'll see who's smug

I think the best contender is the shovel hydro that someone else has. Unless of course, someone else wants to come on out who I haven't met in person
