I think Fred is still in a partial coma, eventually the hamster wheel in his head will start turning again and the results will be posted.

Don and I will both have Q offshore boats next year. I don't mind but he can't be spanked like that by a little girl next year. I had to hold him until we got to Kentucky. LOLMODEL BOAT RACER

lol there was plenty left in the batts, over 30% but i don't think she pushed it very hard, it is exactly the same setup I used in P offshore in my sprintcat and I had 25% left after 4 minutes. We call ourselves the "Q"Comment

Thanks to everyone for such a great race. I almost hate to say, that I truly enjoyed my first ever "all electric race" . I say "hate" because I am a reciprocating mass
kinda guy. And no sooner that I got home, My son Lamar brought over a box full of Zenoah parts for me to modify. He builds modified engines for sale, and I do the lathe and mill work on them.
Things were going tooo easy right up till Sunday morning when I saw the points sheets and saw that I was in the lead for the Mr Offshore award! Whats Mr. Offshore? I looked at Doug and said "if only I had a Q boat......What is a Q???? He took me by the collar and after getting a motor from one guy, a carburetor (yall call them ESCs for some reason) from another, a propeller from Doug's trash bag, and batteries from the drawer marked "old do not use" And the whole time Chris Harris was saying , with a calculator in hand, "it MIGHT work! We stuffed all that into my little 29" ORCA and threw it at the water. I learned something .... I like Qs. Even hodge podge thrown together at the last minute Qs. The gears are ah turning in my head now, and I for see an up scaled ORCA of say 40 inches. I let you know when it's ready, but I pretty sure there will be a couple at next years Michigan Cup race. I felt sure that Ava would pass me and get way more laps that I could (she did) I was just trying to hang onto second place (I didn't). But putting the Q together was a highlight of the race to me. Seeing everyone and everything come together and the finished product actually work, man, that was fun.
I cant talk about the race without Thanking Doby, for calling for me. I must have used him at least 89 times. I'm sure he had other things to do but he never turned me down. Thank you Doby. And for anyone who has never used him, he is what a caller should be. He tells you every single move to make and warns you of traffic and dead boats like it should be done. I do believe that I could have closed my eyes, and turned my back to the lake, and would have probably done just as good. Maybe even better as I bet that I would have followed his instructions to go outside the dead boat instead of thinking that I could make it on the inside. I hit the dead boat, sorry Bob.
Yep, I really enjoyed the race, and the road trip was fun too. It was a tad long at 1800+ miles round trip. But it hard not to enjoy the ride when BOZO the clown is in the front seat with you. I just wish he would learn to sprecken zee english! Maybe we wouldn't make so many wrong turns!
Thanks again to all

Thanks Don, it was a better race with you and the Smockster there (don't tell Doug I said that). This might have been your first all electric race but I doubt it will be your last!
The pic I attached shows Don's basic facial expression he had throughout the 3 days of racing...Big kid,big southern accent, great driver and overall fun guy to hang out with.

Nice to meet you Don, nice running boats.
A great big thank you to everyone hauling my fat arse up the stand and back down to my pits. Even with all that help, I'm just getting back to some kind of normal today. I'm going to work on fixing my Cheetah now...lol...Nortavlag Bulc

And who picks a voice on the GPS that neither of us could understand because she sounds like she has bigger breasts than the others?
If we have to go there again at least show me the display.
I know, I know, it's my fault because according to my GPS the United States ended in OHIO. LOL
Good fun from start to finish! Looking forward to the next road trip with you sir!!MODEL BOAT RACER

Wendy and I never used a GPS the whole time. I'm finally learning the lay of the land after my third trip. I wrote the directions down before I left Canada. Wendy and I had a great time. Found a great food place for next year. There is this pizza, chicken and rib place on Rochester rd that makes awesome ribs and chicken to order.
I'd like to thank Howard Streke (sp) for explaining why two of my boats went squirrelly, specially the cheetah. The only 2 boats I put a cap on my antennas and the Cheetah does a 60mph bee line into a pine tree.Nortavlag Bulc

Thanks for the kind words John.
You know I told our agent how much real estate we would need. I think he got distracted while he was setting up his family's living room and breakfast nook.LOL
It was very nice of you guys to let us move you over one space. Class acts both of you, and we enjoyed meeting you.
Hopefully things work out and we'll see you in Atlanta sometime.MODEL BOAT RACER
