haha Always cracks me up when people get all rattled about that. Especially when it's in the for sale forum. Then Danny and Doug get panicked notices immediately.

"Somebody had knowledge of something for sale and posted what they knew! That's strictly prohibited! DELETE! DELETE! It's over! We're all gonna die!"

They claim it's bumping or helping out a buddy. Like I would vouch for a POS. Chris had some sweet Propshop propellers for sale on there. I wanted to tell how nice those are but helping inform a potential buyer pisses the trolls off so I resisted.

Every time we post something in here it shows up on everyone's "new post" list. haha That'll piss em off too.

I am sure Fred needs to get the totals very soon
to get the race sheets all set up. Look forward to
meeting all the new Cup racers.
Ha, not quit. Despite the fact that I have been a member of this forum since 09 I only have two running boats at the moment & don't even know if they would qualify to run in any classes. I am just trying to learn more about the hobby with hopes of possibly getting into racing one day :).

Best way to learn is to show up and throw a boat in the water....its not that scary...

Definitely not afraid. Just looked at the Namba rules & there is a lot to take in. Approved motors etc. Hope to learn from the whole experience.

Not to worry. We can get ya through the rule book. Come on out. Check it out. The best part of racing is that it's an excuse for guys that play with toy boats to hang out and act a fool. We have that covered.

I have several hulls & a slew of motors & esc. But the only thing I have running right now is a little Vector 28 for the kids & a Graupner Mosquito 28" mono with 2650kv 75a esc running on 3s. It still has the cheap plastic prop on it & I am still figuring out how to set it up. I am waiting for an order to come in from OSE as I just bought a few of the Graupner fiber reinforced props to try a few things out. I got into this hobby several years ago due to the fact that I am surrounded by lakes & have tons of place to run & by reading this sight. I had a few projects starting & several cool boats as I started to build a fleet & learn the hobby. Then unfortunatley I had a house fire & all my hulls burned up & melted, but I was able to salvage all my motors, esc's, lipo's, hardware etc. I even bought Jesse J's MRP fountain from this sight & that was sadly lost as well. Makes me ill just thinking about it . I had a family to get back on there feet & just threw all my misc parts in a bin. That was 4 years ago. Over this winter my uncle gave me his old Super Hawaii & a Venom Seagad 56" gas hull that he crashed & needs a bit of repair to. That really sparked my interest again. So in the past 6 months I have picked up this Graupner RTR, & within the last few weeks have ordered A Joysway Silverline for the big lake I live on (thread with lots of newb questions coming soon :)) & a Hobbyking Flowmaster C1 twin cat that still has not even arrived. So I am literally just getting back into the hobby after a long Hi8iS :).

So the thought of racing with the race a week away is little overwhelming. But I really want to learn about the hobby. So thought I would come as a spectator & try to wrap my head around all this stuff some more as I have had a passion for boats all my life.

Looking at the signups on RC Racingevents.com (yes it is up today!!!) there are 9 signed up for P&Q Cat. Would those signed up please indicate which class they will be running so we can see if there are enough of each class to separate them out. Thanks.

I will be running P Cat (<-- like that )

                              Check here for updates:

                              P Cat - 2
                              Q Cat - 0

Ryan I have these sitting in my basement, collecting dust.... IF and only IF you will run at the CUP, I can have one ready to run (less batteries) for tomorrow, you come to the practice pond around 9:30am, have NAMBA membership, we can get you some time on the water. Open water on Thursday at the Elks, you're good to go!!!
