haInstead, why not focus on a class you don't have to beg borrow and steel a drivers to get it to run at the biggest FE race in 10 years? The biggest race in a dogs age and there is a chance it wont have enough bodies to field a heat? ding ding ding Hello! McFly! Plus, if it didn't run then someone that didn't get a spot in their favorite class might be able to get one........orrrrrr we can all watch a class that's as old as electricity.
Hey, Terry... can you fit a Q-Mono in your suitcase?? I didn't think so... Nuff said!Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

No that's true but a model that fits in a suite case wont make the cut in my fleet so it's a non issue for me. I'm not racing anything I feel like I have to smuggle onto a plane. We could bring back N1 crackerbox for ya. That fits in a suite case.
Q mono is another class that I would be very surprised to see get a whole flight worth of boats. I have one but wont sign up for it. Too many other things I'd rather be doing.Noisy personComment

Of course Brian would already have a rig to whip our behinds with. Sure why not.
Spodda be some fish in dat lake. Kabota Ken and I caught nothing at the race but I suspect that was because it was 1:30 am and we were loud due to mild inebriation.Noisy personComment

Fred and I finally broke down and made a spread sheet of all the boats the he and I have to have ready for us and our boys. Daunting. Some of them haven't even made it out of the molds yet. I have three boats under construction laying on the floor in three different rooms as I type. My wife loves me. Anybody else have an 1/8 scale twin wing laying scattered across the living room floor? weeeeeeee Oh and an 8s mono splattered all over the den. Working on that crime scene look.
I found a whiplash in my sons room. I think he was sleeping with it like a teddy bear.Noisy personComment

Trust me, I'm right there with you.
I have plugs for the Q/T rigger finished. The molds for the scale boats are ready. I think I'm going to recruit one of my scale friends for paint work.
It's a big list of parts to build.Brian "Snowman" Buaas
