Whatcha gonna do. The district moved this race from June to the fall so hotel rates would be lower and beach traffic would be less and I don't think anyone anticipated this happening.

Hope you can drop by at SAW's this November Chuck. It would be nice to see you.

Also hope the Chesapeake Club gets back rolling next year!! We need you guys.

ok, now when are the ACTUAL SOLID dates for the Hagerstown fun race?

I REALLY got to know by the END of the weekend so that I can put in for the time off.
If i hold off any longer, then I can not make that race.

More bad news. The October Fun Run in Hagerstown has also been cancelled due to excessive grass and low water levels. The Baltimore Club is inviting all district members to come up to their practice pond in Columbia, MD next Saturday September 21st to run boats and have a barbeque. Start time is 10AM. Tim is bringing a grill.

We had a nice test n tune this morning/early afternoon with eight people showing up. Conditions were breezy but most of us got to put a boat in the water. I didnt get to do any SAW testing though.

Hey Carl, The guy that let us in at the main gate (along with all the construction traffic) is the guy that usually monitors the phones. He got kicked out of his office today to stand watch at the front gate. Thats why no one was answering. LOL

Mike, is the JS ready to run minus motor? Also, is it gas or the new FE version?? How much do you want for it?? My disdain for skiffs started when I had to retrieve a flooded one during a race.

Don't forget last year also. The race we tried to hold for the Chesapeake Club was rained out.....twice.

I think we need to develope a line of Copper Sulfate buoys.
