My TFL 41" Zonda coming up to speed

First run with all box stock settings with raw props and old batteries....Yea, I got soaked as well. Next run it'll have some good props on it.

Looks like a good play boat boat . How much run time are you going to try and get with it or are you going to send this one flying for speed .

ZONDA hits 97.2mph with dasboata props!

Here is another run from today.....All stock boat (including the TFL two piece flex shafts) except for the Chris Hoffmann (dasboata) props. Not too bad for the 2nd time it ever hit the water. The next run will be on the back stretch of the lake with a little better batteries and props. Stay tuned....

TFL 41" Zonda.....100mph+ club ticket has been punched!

Finally had some halfway decent weather to try it out again in. So here's another quick run in windy conditions that officially puts my Zonda into the 100mph club. Still a pretty conservative setup with test props on the boat now and it should pick up a few more mph in a little better conditions with some premium props and a little better batteries in it...

Glad to see it landed right-side-up. As I mentioned in my YouTube comment, hope to be able to get one late this year, or early next year

Thanks Mike! The props on the Geico are a custom prop from Chris Hoffmann (dasboata) we call "Super Geico" props. You can look him up on here or email him at [email protected]. I Normally run 4-3s packs in the Geico anywhere from 4,000- 6000mah at least 50c. Steve sells some good Revolectrix packs in the OSE store as well. Take care.

So I?m new to rc boating and I have a TFL Zonda that has only the stock props. Can I get any more speed from the stocks (I.e. a stinger adjustment, or motor timing)?

                          Awesome job.

Thanks! With stock props you can get around 60mph on 6s. Struts will need to be setup neutral though..
