Looking again it wouldn't be too hard to fit a new mount for a 36mm motor but, it's designed for what it has, not what some may want. CG changes, etc...

Ray, that's one of the first things I figured may upset handling if a bigger motor gets put in. I mean really ; watch the video a few times : the boat's rather "peppy" and turns both directions just fine at the speed and weight that has been designed into it. Once mods, particularly power mods, are introduced, it becomes a builder's race as much as a driver's race and the fun factor get's diluted. Maybe just for old farts like me but

I need new glasses 4-sure... The HK version is smaller with a 380 motor vs the Caudwell with a 36mm x 60mm motor and mount. You could easily slip in a spec motor if your club allows it, see specs in picture below:Attached Files
