    Hey Lenny!
Which motor are you running with that setup?

Do you remember what the temps were? Mine usually run 104-110 tops and that's not bad at all.

Here is a pic of RTR without the battery leads plugged in.

It is leopard 4074 1800kv with open bell ends,
As for the temps, Esc 120*f tops, Motor 125*f, And the cell 130*f,
But I also was pushing the cell till lv kick in and was set for 3.4,
      I got 7 minutes out of a Great hobbies G2 5s 35c 3800mah pack.
So I am timing my runs now for 5 minutes and the cell run cooler that way.

Those are some nice runs. I need to video and GPS a couple of my own for a baseline before changing anything. I just can't seem to decide 4s or 5s setup. Maybe I can do it tomorrow and see what happens.

          Thanks,
In those video's I was just testing some new setting on the hardware.

I got this boat from a guy that lived in Alaska and I think sunk it a few time,
          But not sure about that.

This boat came with a 4074 2200kv but it is in bad shape,
And needs new bearings and new sealer on the rotor windings.
So I put this motor in to see how it would run because it was just laying around in my box,
I also was thinking of trying a custom Nemesis Gold 4082 2200kv that is new that I have laying around to.
And do some testing with it for speeds and see how the hull handles it.

I had a rather disappointing run at the pond today. I went with the intention of trying different configurations, 5s 4s and different props. Well, it was a disaster. I found out one of my 3 cell batteries lost a cell completely and now it's bad. Plugged in my 2s and 3s batteries and the ESC turned on the Low voltage cutoff almost right away of full throttle. I have the cutoff right now set at 3.8V and it read 3.9 when I brought them in to check. I thought I recharged them but maybe I didn't. Anyway, After that, I switched to 4s and the same thing happened to my 2 4000mAh 40C 2s batteries. But this time the voltage was 4.1 so I'm not sure why it was kicking in so soon. Finally, I used my 5800mAh 30C 2s batteries and it ran well for a while and not at a bad speed. I got up to 38 so far but I'm also not convinced that my GPS is correct. Either way I know just from watching it run that it can be sooo much faster. I'm giving up on the 5s and going for the 4s, that way I'll have 3 2s battery pairs I can use and I plan to buy two 4s for longer runs. Now I need a 4074 leopard at 2200kv. Would rather get a good shape used one but No one has one yet for sale.
