    That was my goal with this one! A big fast boat that is somewhat reliable without spending 500 smackers+ on a motor. Actually if you don't count shipping or batteries I think I have under $500 in the entire boat!
    $340 for the motors, esc's, and hull.

            Ever since they got new stock they doubled. I yelled at the computer when I saw it!

                I just snagged a pair of 1400kv t600's on ebay new, for $41 each plus $10 shipping. Not bad, better than 60 each!

                        Yeah but, Mcmaster Car will not ship to me

                        I am sourcing them from a local industrial supply. i can get 5mm but, not sure about 6mm.

                        In a couple days I'll know what I can get. if I can't get a pair of 6mm shafts, 200mm each, maybe you can order it for me and I'll pay you to ship it to me??...
