      Hello Guys,

concerning the size of the engines. I now looked through the homepage of NEU-motors. Just looking at weight and size a NEU 1512 would be similar to the used LMT 1940's. So quite small motors used in that boat. But I have to admit that this setup requires some knowledge, I run the motors quite close to their capabilities.

      Best regards,
      Manuel

For the Castle 1717, as I don't know the motor I looked it up at their homepage: Well its surprisingly big for its price. Way bigger than the LMT 1940/7 that I use in my HPR. It has nearly double the weight of my motors beside having quite less kv. So if I had to use one I'd try to use them with 7S Lipo to get the right rpm (. The thing is, on the castle homepage it says max 25V (equals 6S Lipo) but 7S under load should have an approx. Voltage of 25V. So beside the RPM, the Castle 1717 should definitly have a higher possible power output than my Lehner 1940. I'm nore sure wether they are enough to power a 59" cat, for a HPR06 or even a HPR 135 they should take it for "normal" speeds. The only question is, how to water-cool them with these fins?

        Best regards,

Yes they say max.6s, but on the motor it says max 45,000 rpm. so 45000/1580 equals roughly 7s... hard to try it though but .......

          Hello Guys,

some time passed but here a few new videos of my boat. Its still my preferred boat and now its the 5th year I'm running it.

And a great thing is, at the moment I own a 2nd RTR HPR06 with almost the same speed. So what we did is run them parallel do each other, something that has not been done so far very often so I hope you enjoy it. My HPR06 "Repsol" is driven by Christian "the file" Fischer (the one with the TwinTurbine Mystic and the Golddigger), I run the yellow HPR 06 "Miss Geico":

For sure you can also forward or post these links to other websites/friends if you like it. Might be also worth to watch the other videos in our youtube channel or even subscribe, might be worth it!

          regards,
          Manuel
