This makes me miss my DF29. Great job, but careful putting that much voltage on the 1515.

I have to wonder if your phone is very accurate, does not look any more than 50mph and have seen a lot of boats going 65 plus and sorry but yours is not one of them.

7xl, the 1515 is waiting for the 7xl to fry, then it is castle/neu time.

Well I belive it is quite accurate, I use it on my 1:1 boat and car to navigate and I have not yet hit any rocks...on the motorway it shows exactly the same speed as my calibrated car speedometer and on 1:1 boat the same speed as my friends gps.

(My friend has a proper gps unit and it showed 86kph on x642, he was not there when we tested 15 deg timing and x440, it was noticeably faster with x440, way more rpm´s and speed).

I have hit many times over 80kph and yes, this was alot faster.

But nothing is 100% except radar I guess.

oh boy what a comedian you are

dont know was it the filming angle or what that is not convincing you of the speed or what, but on the video it only was wot at the last run to the right, was not going paraller to the boat that we used to film and drive it.

              "Proper" gps unit showed these:

              73kph on 1deg timing and x440
              78kph 1 s215
              68kph 1 x642

the rest is done using my phone:

              88kph on 15 deg timing and x642

105.55 15 x440 and it looked and sounded way faster then other setups.

That is it, I dont care if you belive this or not, I´m happy anyways.

That is an accurate statement. 40k on 5S is pushing the boundries. 6S is asking for the magic smoke gods to appear. A 2200kv motor is already at its top end on 4S. Unless your going to limit your runs to 30 seconds or less its just asking for something to fry with more volts.

Andy,......you are one of a kind.

Hi, John and thanks for your thoughts.

The plan was to do one or two saw type runs and start laughing.

So the run times will be and have been short.

Smoke or not, I just want to see "how fast"
