Thanks Ben. I got a couple more props to try. Ive been really busy w/ several other things so have been neglecting my boats for a little bit. Hopefully this weekend I can get it back in the water for more fine tuning.
I have a similar setup Mini Rio. but Im still working on it.
What props are you running with? How far from the transom is the balance point (C.G.) now that its balanced?

Hey Larry, welcome to the forums. I will have to check props. I havent got it quite balanced yet. I actually wish I could go a tad further forward w/ the cog but everything is as far forward as it can go w/ out rebuilding some of it. I think its just mm-ers off. I had to give it some negative strut to help keep the bow down. I will get some prop sizes and where the cog is and get back to you.
Thanks a lot for the response. Im using the stock motor mount on this motor ,3600 KV, 45A, 8 - 18V
Your mount looks farther back than mine. I can barley shoe horn the motor in. To get the shafts to align, I had to build up that area in front of the motor mount to push the motor cooling case up against the top deck. Ill be running it next week end with a 2S 2000 mAh pack and a 34x1.55 prop. I'm guessing she will do 31 mph or so from the online tools on this site.
