Oh yeah baby, it may just take the right tweak on the prop. Might be a fine line of torque/RPM there.

Travis, fantastic!Love those number s on the GPS!
So your CC ESC worked, that is great too, now I am happy to hear that those Orange Rx are actually OK, I asked this question a couple times and no one was sure, nobody wanted to take the dive.
Thank you for your willingness to try .
Have a great weekend buddy!Too many boats, not enough time...Comment

I ran across this with my mono. 6s it would go faster with more pitch. Then 7s it didn't want to pick up much until I backed down on the prop pitch. The rudder is losing it a few mph too but I can't use that short of a rudder at this speed. The short one is 1/2" shorter. I'm going to shorten another one just a 1/4". I'm gonna try less prop first and see how it does.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

I have one in my mini Rivercat and my sons hydro. It seems to work just as far, has a shorter antenna and only one antenna. I'm really disappointed in the Spektrum ones here lately. That's three in a week in two different boats that has failed on me.
I should get back to the lake tomorrow. I'm soooo close....again! Lol32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

I have been having issues with my twin mono with steerable drives. Just a long range thing but have noticed it is happening when I turn( didn't someone else have this issue). So because of the drives I put a GOOD (crawler)servo in and upon looking things up, I found that sucker draws 5amps to hold/lock. So I put a plug in 'glitch buster' on and it helped considerably, but not gone. So I picked up some caps today to throw in and try as most BECs do not do 5amps plus whatever it takes to run Rx/ESC.
So after all that, any resemblance Travis?Comment

Yep. As soon as I would turn it around it would drop the steering on me. Not every time. When I swapped receivers it didn't do it again.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment
