Repaired the damage and painted my Pursuit

    The nipple on top is the front one, so there is possibly an air bubble on top but the motor never gets above 95, so I'm not concerned. I agree on the decal, I pulled it off earlier today :-).

        OK, that flip in the video I posted the other day knocked the rails and stuffing tube loose inside, so I redid it. I changed the stuff tube support to aluminum which I made here on the lathe (more for looks than anything else :)) and added battery trays so I can strap the packs down so they stay put in a crash! I did find my CG was too far back, only about 8". I never rechecked it with the new motor and batteries, much heavier than the old stuff! I ended up with the batteries a few inches forward from where I was running them. The battery trays are tied in to the rails which adds a ton of support to the bottom of the boat. The bottom of the boat feels like rock! Between the extra bracing ang the better glue used this time (West Systems G Flex epoxy), if it comes apart now, it's taking the hull with it lol.
