Up date: I will have the boxes tomorrow and will mail hopefully that after noon. ground four day.

Randy, is the seam in the cowl smooth. I got the impression it was to come ready to stripe and decal. What is left to do to get to that point.

Final clean up on all the seams is necessary. Light coat of yellow on the seam (that is depending how fussy you are) then stripe, decal and clear. If all the seams had the same color as the paint it would be better, all in time. I have lost a lot on the color Epoxy coat, I have $45.00 in materials and nothing for labor so do not beat me up over this. It is a real nice epoxy hull. And it has the CF rods for free!

          Boat

It looks great Randy! Its important to remember that your stuff may require a bit more finish work, but its a SMALL price to pay for the quality. Your stuff is 10x as sturdy as the "RTR" junk, race proven, and built to last forever-literally.... The boats I have gotten from you are TOP NOTCH! Thanks for actually putting in the time to build such wonderful/strong/race proven boats at prices we are able to afford. You are one of the last ones left that truly build a hand made product. Just awesome!

          Ray
P.S. I will be putting the carbon cat you built me through its paces this weekend! :)

I read my question again and I cannot see where I was being aggressive. No need for anyone to come to Randys defense. In our conversations on the phone I was under the impression I would not have to paint over an epoxy colored boat. I have paint I can paint it to come out an even color. No need for anyone to comment on something they know nothing about. { Now that was aggressive} Randy and I are grown men and if there is any problem I am sure we can work it out. Let me know when it is ready Randy.
            Thanks

              Hello,

I am so sorry if my post was misleading. You were at no time disrespectful or aggressive. That was not the intention of my post. I simply wanted to praise your new boat. It looks great and you will love it. Again...No disrespect at all. We all share the same love of these boats. :) Please post the progress on your boat. Its going to be amazing.
              Respectfullly,
              Ray

This 'squeaky wheel' idiom came up the other day at work. We were trying to be 'squeaky' to get something done. They responded with "we like to wait until the wheel falls off"!!!!

BTW - I paid the balance for the hull Randy. Looking forward to getting it! Thanks!

                                That thing looks tasty.
                                I'm gonna' need one eventually.

I just can't believe how well you duplicated a deaver drag Hydro.
We need to start playing with these, I'm setting mine up scale. Straight shaft, rear motor, etc

My idea is a little different than SAWS I'm setting it up for extremely hot 1-way passes..
