M41 esc over heat

I get 5 min of bashing & it shuts off

We have been only able to get about 3 1/2 minutes on 6s with stock setup. 5 minutes is pretty long on 6s.

Ok I had some 50c Batterys in it & was able to run it fer about 15
Cheep China zop
Also I melted the traxxas connectors with75c. Are the batterys to much.
Is there a motor esc combo I should look at

Shorten your run times up to 3 minutes and keep check on the temps such as your batts ,esc and motor. If the temps are good then run it a little longer. The M41 is just like the Spartan when it comes to the electronics. Make sure you grease the flex cable about every 2 to 3 runs.

I grease prop shaft every other time
Remove motor & oil berrings this concern happened when I went to 75c Batterys Is it worth to upgrade esc?
4082 1600 ? Motor ?

i use ec5`s on all my boats .even my spartan and i have got some great run times .i can get between 8-10 minute run times with mixed fast passes and cruising around .in theory the cat should get the same or more since its skimming on the water .the spartan is a displacement hull . if your hard on the throttle the whole run your going to heat the esc up .its already on the edge .

I want a longer run time so I may run with buddies nitro. Oh ya & leave him in my wake

Ten minutes isn't going to happen. For 7600 mAh packs to last that long you’ll need to limit the average amp draw to 50 amps. That’s not going to be very fast. And heat buildup will be an issue too. Ten minutes of mostly WOT is tough to achieve with any FE boat. And running a lot of part throttle will heat up the ESC even more. There are Spartan owners who have a lot of success modding their boats, hopefully they will chime in.

So,,, I have come to the conclusion my motor is failing I took both boats out & spartan was way faster m41 was struggling to go at partial throttle. Had to give it full throttle to get it up to any great speed
So,,,, my question is.
What to replace stock components with
I don’t mind spending $ if it is worth it
Help I need. Please
