Prop Question

I am setting up my Spartan to run a Castle Ice Hydra 240A ESC with the Leopard 1600KV motor. Which prop should I go with this setup????

I was thinking on using an Octura x442...... Would this be a bad choice ??

The octura x442 is the stock prop for spartan. If you go higher, be careful. I ran a x642 with stock esc and motor, and it melted the esc. Other options maybe X445, x642, and prather s220. Good luck.

With a 1600kv motor a large prop will be needed to get speed. And with that esc a larger prop shouldn't be a problem.

No, shouldn't be a problem. I run the stock motor, and the hydro ice 200 esc and dual water pickup. Temperatures seem to be very cool. Will be trying other props next spring. Enjoy.
