Okay I will agree that this hull has issues but tossing another $27 for the rudder is not going to make a difference at this point and unless you smoke something you still have the option of putting it back to stock buy a good hull and put all the good stuff in that. but until I can find a good deal on a hull I will keep beating my dead horse. I got her out yesterday with the new rudder. I was running with the stock electronics and a Prather 215. The boat ran much more stable but still ran totally wet. I cannot get it out of the water. I have the batteries all the back and I even kicked the strut up 1 and same thing. It is also laying on its side like crazy. At speed it the right side of the V is level in the water. I rut the left side tabs to 0 and gave the right side +2 It did not help. By the end of the second run the ESC was up to 140. I got it home and I put the SK 180 and the 4090 back in. I will put the X645 tonight and see if I can get her out this week.Comment

Hey,
Do you still have your trim tabs set like this and stringer or strut ?
If so,
This should be a easier way for you, I do it at the pond all the time.
I take a ruler or straight edge and put it against the bottom of the hull vee at stern 6" or so over lapping the hull,
And the rest under the stinger or strut end and check the distance between them for 3/16",
Then tighten the bolts.
Also move the trim tabs up about 1/4" at the back center of tabs,
Just move the adjusting bolts all the way up and bend the tabs up to make it easier.
I take a ruler or straight edge and put it against the bottom of the hull stern 6" or so over lapping and the rest under the trim tab,
And check the distance of each one.
Than move the bolts back down to zero it in on 1/4" and then lock them.
Get some video of it running with these setting first on glass if possible and close to shore with long saw runs.
Than if it start to plane to much bring the trim tabs down a little at a time to stop it from hopping at high speeds.
If you adjust it, Do one thing at a time and test again,
To say on track of it.

Hi Guys,
someone can tell me please if there is on OSE Store the upgraded proppeler flex cable and rudder for the Spartan.
I'm planing to order (have to), the ESC and motor allready prepared by guys at OSE for 6s for the Spartan and I'd order these other two things
to improve the problems with collet coupler and cooling.
Thabks all, salute Niky.Comment

Ding! Ding! Ding! MAMBA22000 lets tell you what you have won, you have one a factory certified previously owned Spartan hull. Slightly deformed. LOL I am guessing that this is enough to do it.

yes that is enough it dont take much to hook and pull the nose down that be you problem the best thing i can tell you is pull the battery trays and lay thin plywood in the bottom and epoxy it in to make the bottom ridgid and straight that is one of the things i did to mine to make her handle wellIm Only Responsible For What I Say Not For What You UnderstandComment
