    Yup. But you need two parallel connectors for the spartan. Plug two 2S batteries into each parallel connector, then plug the parallel connectors into the stock serial connection on the ESC.

    You will have 4 batts in total plugged into the ESC. This will give you 4S voltage with double the capacity.

    Your batteries need to be the same mah rating, and the same C discharge rating (ie 5000mah 40 C) it is not necessary, but preferable to have batts from the same manufacture, this is all to ensure the cells discharge at the same rate to protect against over discharging one or two cells in a battery.

    The reason the manufacture being the same is preferable is because different manufactures don't necessarily use the same criteria for rating their batteries.

      OOOO OK, Now I got it. Well I dont have 4 of the 2 cells. But I do have 4 of the stock 8volt batts, I guess I could use them. I do have some 3 cell 5000s coming, is putting a 3 cell and a 2 cell together a bad idea??

        Well, have 2x 3cell 5000 mah in my back pocket.. see what kind of numbers I can get with these. I will post some speed numbers later.
