Cool, thanks! I think I am going to go with the .187 ang get the new collet and 9/32 stuffing tube. Gotta remember to grab a new Drive dog too since that went down with the prop. Lol

There is a post that includes pictures of the 9/32 install over on the Traxxas board by a fellow who did this mod.

There are some very minor changes you need to make to the tray to fit the 9/32 tube.

Check out his post and setting things up should be a breeze.

      Kevin

PS if you are ordering the stuffing tube from Kintec, pick up the aeromarine 3 piece collet at the same time. These are excellent collets. They are a tight fit on the spartan, but I have been running them for over a year now and they work great.

Yup I was thinking of doing that 9/32 mod. Looks simple enough. I'll go with that collet you recommend too. This is what I have in my cart to order:

        1x 3/16" (.187) Flex Cable
        1x AM 3 Piece Collet 5mm x .187
        1x AM-1900 3/16"x12" Stuffing Tube W/Liner
        1x Traxxas 5728 Drive Dog
And of course a couple stock props for now.

Rather than change the strut, unless you want to, order a .187 cable from Jeff Wohlt that has the spartan stub shaft on it.

Darn, didn't realize I could have gone that route. I ended up ordering the stock stuff for now to get me by. When this one breaks I will do that.
