The best option is to start a new thread about this boat so everybody who is interested can drool over it and ask questions about it. Trying to find info on this boat on page 134 of a Traxxas Spartan thread is pretty lame.

Well at OSE we look out for one another and if something comes up we see a possible issue with we say something...
and with a new boat (Traxxas) that has some big claims aimed at new boaters, this new DF is a great choice and possible beat the Spartan on any Sunday!

It's O.K. Traxxas guy, this boat will be in direct competition with the Spartan. And it will be a higher quality hull for sure.
How is it lame?
Traxxas needs to get on the ball and drop the B.S.
Delta Force hasn't been pushing the crap, and they don't need to.
I'll be putting down my cash for a DF Cyberstorm ARR way before this Traxxas.

The same goes with the traxxas boat being mentioned on other threads related to different boats, that just the way things work.
It's O.K. Traxxas guy, this boat will be in direct competition with the Spartan. And it will be a higher quality hull for sure.

I find it rather flattering to compare the Spartan to A Delta Force. First there is no comparison except they are FE boats. One is ready to run entirely including receiver and even batteries for what I will estimate at half the cost by the time you are done with the Delta. The Delta is an all out race boat and the Spartan is an every day Joe start me out in the world of FE with everything I need to have fun without issue. Parts and availability of them or warranty work on the Spartan will be at almost every hobby shop in North America since almost everyone carries the Traxxas brand.It's O.K. Now here is an idea for eventual Spartan owners. But a Delta Force hull here at OFE and make an adapter for the removable power module of the Spartan. a little wood, some glass work and Voila! Would be really curious to see performance compared to a Spartan.

That was my point and that is why I say it is flattering for Spartan to have the 2 compared as equals or competitors on this site.
Nothing new or unexpected and yes you are right the Delta will kick Spartans butt, so will most of your custom setups here but they are not $309 RTR delivered to my door are they? Do they carry any kind of warranty? Traxxas never said they were true official race boats. Some here have taken the RTR logo to mean this is an official sanctioned race boat. Come on, even me as a newbie can see this is only a slogan. Racing on the pond with friends and for fun is what it means. This is a pretty much WYSIWYG boat. Not much to be done here for customization or speed increase is there?Comment
